JOB SUMMARY:

To produce audience appropriate video pieces that accomplish the goals and objectives of Trinity Fellowship Church.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Tell the story. Write concepts, message points, story lines, and scripts to be used in conveying the general message requested by our clients and directed by the Creative Director. Develop program run sheets, story boards, shooting style guides, shooting schedules.

·         Supervise and coordinate video productions. Oversee the securing of locations, permits, talent, crew, equipment, security, and all peripheral elements required for shooting original video footage required to support the story. Coordinate travel domestically or internationally. Ensure compliance with corporate and legal requirements, local regulations, union contracts, and safety fundamentals. Ensure adherence to high professional standards of production and conduct throughout the process.

·         Supervise production crews in the Video Production Facility and on location. Directly oversee tasks by videographers, editors, audio mixers, associate producers, directors, technical directors, video operators, grips, lighting directors, stage hands, makeup artists, and production assistants.

·         Liaise with and direct artists and talent, their management and support staff. Support negotiation of contracts with on-camera talent and Trinity Fellowship Church.

·         Secure releases, permits, licenses, and contracts for use of any material or performances not covered by employment or other agreement in effect with Trinity Fellowship Church. Make reports on use of this material available in a timely and orderly manner.

·         Develop, administrate, and manage individual project budgets to ensure cost-effective creation of Trinity Fellowship video products.

SUPERVISOR:

Reports directly to the Creative Director

REQUIREMENTS:

 The applicant should be a committed, well-established, mature Christian, and be willing to become an active member of Trinity Fellowship Church.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 The ideal candidate will have a college degree with at least five year’s experience in video or film production.

Knowledge, Skills, Ability

·         Functional understanding of and familiarity with the evangelical Christian community -- its language, culture, theology, history, personalities, and struggles.

·         Must be able to actively listen to client’s video requests and ask questions that will draw out their goals so as to guide the effective creation of a video to meet their needs.

·         Must be able to lead by example to keep production standards and interpersonal interactions maintained at the highest professional, moral, and ethical levels

·         Familiarity with protocols, set etiquette and reporting relationships while on video productions

·         Experience working with talent and people of interest

·         Good interpersonal communication skills

·         Must possess project management and budgeting skills

·         Ability to write clearly and concisely for specific audiences

·         Ability to give leadership and to work as a team member; to give and take direction

·         Ability to collect data, define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

·         Ability to plan and make decisions

·         Committed to excellence

·         Ability to meet inflexible deadlines

Physical/Mental Demands:

·         Ability to travel domestically and internationally

·         Ability to work long hours when needed

·         Ability to occasionally lift/move loads of up to 50 pounds

Working Conditions:

·         The work environment on video shoot locations may expose the employee to wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, risk of electrical shock, heat, cold, and stormy weather, insecure settings in third-world countries, and noisy environments of up to 120 decibels.
